When things become difficult
An international yacht transport stalls. In uncertainty it becomes visible whether someone merely arranged something or continues to accompany responsibility.
Some projects begin with a clear route and become a web of countries, permits, harbours and new information.
The real stress is not only the problem. It is uncertainty, conflicting statements and the need to prepare the next reliable decision.
In those moments clients do not need perfect explanations. They need someone who remains reachable, separates facts from assumptions and keeps the process moving.
Responsibility does not mean controlling every event. It means not stepping back when the original plan no longer works.
Since then, I no longer see difficult situations as an interruption of the work. Often, they are the work.
