After the purchase, the real journey begins

For the buyer, handover is often the goal. For an owner adviser, it is the beginning of a long-term relationship.

A yacht handover is a special moment. Plans, offers, negotiations and technical lists become real.

For many buyers, that day is the goal. For me, it has always also been the beginning.

Soon after the first joy, questions appear that no brochure answers: the first trip, technical observations, service needs, equipment, insurance and the daily reality on board.

Owner guidance begins where a single transaction ends. It is not about doing every task personally, but about keeping the overview, selecting specialists and following up from the owner’s perspective.

The true value of a yacht develops in the years after the purchase — in use, memories and the knowledge that important decisions do not have to be made alone.
